Duties:
- Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs.
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures.
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
- Operate Cleaning Equipment:
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
- Utilize various cleaning techniques and operate cleaning machinery with a focus on safety and maintenance.
- Handle Specialized Equipment:
- Carefully work around specialized equipment to ensure no disruption to manufacturing processes and maintain the integrity of sensitive machinery.
- Manage Supplies:
- Report back to the office manager if supplies are low.
- Move heavy furniture and/or supplies as needed.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in high-traffic areas, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school.
- Grade 12 English communication skills.
- Proven track record in maintaining cleanliness and organization in high-traffic facilities.
- Experience in using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
- Ability to handle and work around specialized equipment with care and precision.
- Strong work ethic and time management.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
