Company & Job Description

Impôt Logique is a local company located in Brossard, QC, providing professional accounting and tax services to individual, student, or business. We are currently looking for a dedicated administrative assistant to join our team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence, invoices, reports, and financial documents using accounting software and office applications.
  2. Maintain client financial records, update spreadsheets, and ensure accurate entry of financial transactions and invoices into databases.
  3. Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings between clients and accounting consultants.
  4. Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for financial records, tax documents, and client contracts in compliance with company policies.
  5. Assist in preparing invoices, processing payments, and tracking receivables/payables to support the accounting team.
  6. Ensure that financial and tax documents are properly filed and stored according to regulatory requirements and assist in preparing documents for audits.
  7. Coordinate the schedules of accountants, bookkeepers, and clients to optimize workflow and minimize conflicts.
  8. Draft, edit, and distribute internal memos, client updates, and financial notices as required.
  9. Monitor office supplies, place orders, and ensure the office has necessary materials for daily operations.
  10. Assist in compiling financial data and preparing reports, charts, and presentations for internal use or client meetings.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Completion of secondary school is required; higher education will be an asset.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years experience in an administrative or clerical role; experience in an accounting or financial setting is an asset
  3. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and other standard office tools, and have the eagerness to learn.
  4. Positive and professional attitude while being detail-oriented, organized, and attention to detail.
  5. Ability to handle matters proactively, expeditiously, and judiciously.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills in English or French.
