- Interpret engineering and architectural drawings, sketches, and work specifications to determine tasks, then measure, mark, and lay out sheet metal based on templates or designs.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create patterns for sheet metal fabrication.
- Operate laser or plasma cutting machines to precisely cut sheet metal.
- Assembling and installing fabricated metal products, ensuring they fit correctly and function as intended.
- Modifying designs or materials based on project requirements.
- Any other relevant task.
