- Plan, direct and evaluate the activities (ocean, air and land ) of logistics and warehousing sales
- Organize regional operations - Trans-Pacific, USA and Canada
- Establish logistics policies and procedures
- Lead sales team in building relationships with clients and manage negotiations of sales contracts
- Set performance goals, oversee the setting of logistics service rates and monitor revenue
- Recruit, organize, train and manage warehouse and sales staff
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Logistics or related field.
- Several years in freight logistics/or management position is required
- Demonstrated analytical, business planning, and problem solving skills.
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks from multiple services/locations.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience in databases (Excel and Word) applications.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Must have ability to lead by example.
- Must have ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations and staff.
