Job Title: Ethnic Food Cook
Job Description:
??As an Ethnic Food Cook, you will carry out the following job duties:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Skillfully use spices, herbs, and seasonings that are specific to the ethnic cuisine to create balanced and flavorful dishes
Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
Select and source specialised ingredients that are essential to the ethnic cuisine.
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Inspect kitchens and food service areas
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Clean kitchen and work areas
Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts

Pay rate:
$35 per hour
Education and Work experience:
Minimum Secondary (high) school graduation
6 months minimum experience required
