Job Description
New Glenwood Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families, focusing on health promotion, chronic disease management, and preventative care.
Job Duties:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to patients' individual needs.
- Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Administer immunizations and offer routine preventative care.
- Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in clinic-wide initiatives to improve patient care and service delivery.
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Licensing and Certification:
- Must hold a license to practice medicine in Canada.
- Eligible for or holding licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
Residency Requirements:
- Applicants must currently reside in Canada and hold Canadian Permanent Residence or Citizenship.
Skills and Attributes:

- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
