The Greenhouse Spa offer services to suit various relaxation needs, party sizes, and time limits, including manicures and pedicures, massages, water therapy, men’s executive treatments, as well as waxing and threading. Our office is located at 229 Great Northern Rd. Sault Ste. Marie, ON Canada P6B 4Z2.
We are looking for two Estheticians to join our team immediately to consult with clients and assess their needs, make suggestions and explain services, and eventually perform the treatments. These are permanent, full-time positions of between 30-40 hours/week with an hourly salary of $19.00 plus commission, tips and company group benefits plan. Please note that the weekly schedule will vary based on the spa’s needs and will include evening and weekend shifts as needed. The language of work for the positions are English.
The main responsibilities of the positions include:
- Greeting and welcoming clients, by providing a comprehensive overview of available products and services to ensure a personalized experience
- Maintaining a high standard of hygiene by replacing linens between client sessions and ensuring a clean and professional environment throughout the day
- Upholding cleanliness and safety standards within the work area, ensuring all equipment and tools are sanitized and ready for use
- Offering expert skincare consultations, providing tailored advice on treatments and homecare routines based on individual skin needs
- Sanitizing and maintaining all tools and equipment, including facial devices, wax pots, and manicure instruments, to ensure optimal hygiene and functionality
- Conducting personalized consultations to address client concerns such as acne, dryness, or skin sensitivity, and recommending customized treatments for effective care
- Performing a variety of beauty treatments, including threading, Indian head massage, relaxation massage, manicures, pedicures, and skincare services, based on client preferences and needs
- Proactively suggesting service upgrades by recommending specialized products or additional treatments to enhance client satisfaction and results
- Participating in staff meetings and ongoing training, ensuring continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends and techniques
- Mentoring and training new team members, imparting knowledge on procedures, product usage, and customer service to ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience
You must have the following qualifications:
- Completion of High school or completion in training program in cosmeticians, estheticians, electrologists, manicurists and pedicurists or equivalent experience
- Experience working as an esthetician
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Knowledgeable regarding skincare products and cosmetics
- Able to suggest and sell products based on specific need
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
