Employer: Singletrack Sushi Inc. o/a Whistler Samurai Sushi
Working Location: 7011 Nesters Road, Whistler, BC V8E 0X1
Working Conditions:
- Permanent, Full-time
- Wage: $30 ~ $35 per hour (depending on experience)
- Working hours: 30 ~ 40 hours per week
Job Duties: Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the daily operations
- Build work schedules considering the seasons, business trends and local events etc.
- Plan and research for local/community events, festivals etc. for participation as a local business and discuss it with owners
- Communicate to vendors for food ingredients/supply and negotiate, if required.
- Monitor staff performance and have coaching conversation if needed
- Control inventory, monitor revenues and modify procedures in operations
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Participate in managerial meetings with owners
- Maintain records of business documents such as licenses and invoices etc.
- Plan to hire and recruit staff
Requirements:
- Language: English
- Completion of high school
- Minimum 3 years of experience in food or restaurant service including at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays since the working schedule will be mostly from Thursday to Monday
