Job Description:

We are an award-winning barbershop in Penticton seeking a skilled and professional barber to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality grooming services to our clients and ensure exceptional customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions or current hairstyles.
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches.
• Provide scalp conditioning massages.
• Recommend hairstyles that suit clients’ features.
• Ensure workstations and tools are clean and sanitized after each use.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.

 

Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum one year experience as a barber or completion of a barbering program is preferred.

 

Skills:

• Proficiency in using barbering tools such as scissors, razors, and clippers.
• Knowledge of modern and traditional hairstyling techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• This position requires standing for extended periods and attention to detail.
• Training will be provided if necessary.
