Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of inventory, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to optimize stock availability and minimize waste in the warehouse.
- Lead, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, promoting a collaborative work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage, addressing discrepancies and maintaining high standards of product integrity.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conducting regular safety training sessions and ensuring all staff adhere to safe working practices.
- Coordinate work schedules for warehouse staff, balancing workload and ensuring adequate staffing to meet operational demands and deadlines.
- Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards while coordinating repairs as needed with maintenance teams.
- Manage the order fulfillment process, ensuring timely picking, packing, and shipping of products to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and staff performance, generating reports to support operational analysis and decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and procurement, to ensure seamless communication and efficient inventory management across the organization.
Eligibility Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience of 1 to less than 7 months in warehouse operations or supervision is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise staff and foster a positive work environment.
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe workplace.
- Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems to efficiently track stock levels and reduce waste.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly to staff and collaborate with other departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and warehouse management software for data entry and reporting.
- Strong customer service orientation to ensure timely order fulfillment and address any customer-related issues effectively.
