Position: Food Service Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ARE LISTED BELOW:
- Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of hotel staff involved in food preparation, portioning, and service according to the occupancy and guest requests.
- Estimate and order the necessary ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation in the hotel’s dining facilities.
- Develop and maintain work schedules and procedures for the food service team.
- Keep accurate records of inventory, maintenance, sales, and waste within the hotel's dining operations every alternate days.
- Train staff in their respective duties, including hygiene, safety, step ladder training , chemical handling , temperature check for food and sanitation practices.
- Ensure that both the quality of food and service meet the hotel's standards for guest satisfaction.
- Participate in the recruitment of food service staff and contribute to the development of hotel policies, procedures, and budgets related to dining services with the advice and monitoring of the general manager.
- Manage food and labor costs to optimize profitability and efficiency within the hotel’s food and beverage department.

Key Requirements:
- Completion of high school
- 7 Months to less than 1 Year of experience
- Client focus, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Team player.
- Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
Language: English
Salary: CAD$ 20/hour. Full-time permanent position
