  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of a university degree in finance, business administration, commerce, computer science or related discipline is required.
  • Advanced qualifications such as Master’s Degree, CPA, and CFA, etc. are preferred

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years

A minimum of three years of experience as a middle manager in global investment, M&A, finance, communications, or related business services are required.

• Demonstrated track record of successful portfolio management and investment strategy development.

Proficient understanding of global investment and M&A, various asset classes, investment tools, and risk management practices.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliance strategies, programs, policies and procedures.

• A deep understanding of financial markets, macroeconomic factors, and regulatory requirements.

• Strong product and market knowledge in global fixed income and equities.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs
  • Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Design and manage investment strategies
  • Develop, implement and continuously refine comprehensive investment and M&A strategies and plans based on trends in financial markets, macroeconomic conditions, and company strategy, collaborate with other executives in the short and long term capital allocation plans, aligned with company’s mission and goals to drive growth, global expansion, profitability, and competitive success. 
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to prepare the company for its forthcoming public listing in the capital market; Oversee and coordinate the equity and debt financing process associated with the public listing. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain portfolio strategies and processes; monitor performance, including cost, risk, cash flow, and liquidity; and collaborate with other departments, including risk, compliance, and operations?Evaluate potential investment opportunities, identify valuable investment targets and manage the entire investment process. 
  • Guide the investment team in conducting industry research, compiling industry and investment reports, building financial models, and producing investment documentation. 
  • Contribute to post-investment management and exit activities: Continuously oversee and adjust investment portfolio to optimize performance and achieve long-term objectives; Provide strategic leadership and guidance on investment-related features, pricing, and risk considerations, ensure all investment activities and decisions comply with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and company policies, etc.; Seek for most appropriate opportunities to exit the investments.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, establishment, training, and effective management of an investment team to implement the vision of investment department
